RE: FN-FORUM: Data recovery - is there any chance at all??

Hi Elizabeth,
Probably I little late with this, but I used Active Delete from LSoft, and
had some success after a disk reformat.
But some stuff wasn't usable, because it had been partially written over.
This can be a problem if the original partition was badly fragmented.
It's a good problem though and I got back a quite a bit of stuff I thought
had been lost for good.

Yeah this is the problem, he's been using the reformatted machine for a
month now, so I'm guessing the changes are zilch.
Thanks everyone for the recommendations. *sigh* Lucky I'm a 'bounce
right back' kinda person...
